Hello everyone!

My name is Ken Sholar, the instructor for online CMPGR 202 Introduction to Computer Graphics course.

I currently reside in Modesto, CA and have been been working at MJC for the last two decades in a variety of roles ranging from instructional aide to lab supervisor for the Computer Graphics and Computer Science departments as well as a faculty member of the Computer Graphics department.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art from CSU Stanislaus as well as an Associate of Arts in Art and an Associate of Science in Computer Graphics from MJC. I have co-authored two published books on the Adobe Photoshop and the Adobe Illustrator software packages.

I enjoy reading, painting, hiking, and playing Steam and Euro board games. I also enjoy traveling and have recently visited Australia, New Zealand, and Hong Kong.
